Nothing is ever what it seems in the sleepy English town of Curiosity as over the course of a never-ending weekend we follow various groups of people whose lives are all interconnected without them knowing it. But they all share one thing in common: curiosity kills.

《帕(�)德玛瓦蒂王后》改编自(�)16世纪一首苏菲史诗《Padmavati》，原是(�)讲述(�)(shù )印度战斗民(mí(�)n )族拉(�)杰普特(tè )人王后(�)的史(�)(shǐ )诗，主要描(miáo )述(�)她为(�)民族(�)(zú )和人民对抗(kà(�)ng )外来(�)敌人的(de )故事，其中(�)(zhōng )皇后为了保(bǎo )护自(�)己清誉(yù )而自焚。
1878年(nián )（(�)明(mí(�)ng )治11年）。在(zài )明治(�)维新(�)之(zhī )后，为了处(chù(�) )理日(�)本国(�)内(nèi )的士族(�)叛(pà(�)n )乱(luà(�)n )这类犯罪(zuì )者(zhě(♌) )，将他们(men )大(dà )部分都送(�)到(dào )了监狱里，但是逃狱(�)事件(�)时有发生。于是政(�)府就(�)(jiù )在滋贺县的(de )琵(�)琶湖(�)里浮(fú )着的巨树(�)中(zhō(�)ng )建造(�)了绝对(duì )不可能(✒)逃狱(�)(yù )的监狱「狱(yù(�) )门处」，将(jiāng )重犯全都(�)送(sòng )了进去。而(ér )负责最(�)后阶(�)(jiē )段护送的「渡(�)桥者(�)」一(yī )职则(zé )是(�)由湖(�)(hú )边(�)「昙神社」(�)的(de )「(�)昙之(⏬)三兄(xiōng )弟」担任(�)。福士饰演(yǎn )昙(tán )家的(�)长男(nán )——昙天火。

A group of young men dare a classmate to reach the porch of a legendary old house, said to be haunted by the thirteen victims of a family massacre. In hopes of making a viral video they arm him with a video camera to prove he was there or to capture him fleeing in terror before even reaching the house, as others have. When he doesn't return, the guys must go in to get him. Inside they discover the truth about the house, the fate of their friend and their own fate as well.
